Manufacturing Engineer

Thinkpath Engineering Services (TES) is recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to fill a direct-hire position with a manufacturer in Lebanon, OH.
Job Responsibilities:
o Plans, directs and coordinates manufacturing processes in plant
o Develops and improves manufacturing methods using knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards
o Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements and workflow and designs layout of equipment for maximum efficiency
o Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling
o Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, material or parts
o Estimates production times, staffing requirements and related costs
Qualifications Desired:
o BS/BA in Manufacturing or Tooling or equivalent experience
o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
o Automotive industry experience a plus
o Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
o Knowledge of computers, machining and assembly practices, tools and fixturing
o Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical controls, pneumatic and robotic systems
o Experience with PLC, HMI and robot programming preferred
o Intermediate skills in MS Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
o Must be able to work all shifts and weekends as needed. Travel is possible as needed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
