We are seeking a dynamic Test Engineer specializing in the verification and validation of various types of equipment to join a manufacturing team. As a subject matter expert, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their products through rigorous testing and analysis. Key
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and regulatory teams to maintain product certification to industry standards. . Develop comprehensive test plans and author detailed test reports, utilizing complex data analysis and statistical evaluations. Lead project teams by providing communication and issue escalation support for verification and validation processes. Conduct physical and functional tests of equipment in a shop/lab setting, with a significant portion of the role involving manual, mechanical labor. Coordinate with external test houses to manage scheduling, methods, acceptance criteria, and result analyses. Drive the development of new test methodologies to verify both existing and prototype devices. Required
Qualifications:
Hands-on mechanical experience and familiarity with shop/lab environments. Experience developing and executing test plans and generating complex data using spreadsheets. Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, technical procedures, and industry standards. Exposure to electrical assemblies, electro-mechanical devices, motors, and control systems. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair test equipment. Preferred
Qualifications:
Familiarity with Solidworks or similar CAD software. Previous experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
