You will provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney.
Part time position working 8-16 hours per week with option for some flexible remote work.
May develop into full time role if desired as practice grows.
Responsibilities Provide administrative support to lawyer Handle communication with clients, witnesses etc.
Prepare pleadings and memorandum Conduct legal research Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence Answer and direct phone calls Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars Handle firm accounting/billing Familiarity with hourly billing legal software Deal with medical records requests and handling injury cases Experience in Probate cases Skills Proven working experience as legal assistant or legal secretary Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office Computer literacy Proficiency in English Working knowledge of case management software Excellent secretarial and organizational skills Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure Job Type:
